Abstract

Provides recommendations for the design, selection, specification and use of materials, routeing, land acquisition, construction, installation, testing, operation, maintenance and abandonment of land pipeline systems constructed from steel. Applicable for new and existing pipelines and for the conveyance of oil, gas, carbon dioxide and other substances hazardous to health. Covers pipelines operating at temperatures between -25°C and +120°C inclusive.
