Abstract
Gives both geometrical and technical requirements for the design, manufacture and testing of pedestrian parapets for road bridges, footbridges, retaining walls and other elevated structures. Vehicle restraint systems, pedestrian restraint systems in residential, commercial or industrial buildings, and non-rigid rails, such as ropes or cables are excluded from this standard.
