Welsh Health Building Note
Covers all types of units which provide care for neonates who need more than the routine care provided in maternity units. Includes cot space provision for special care, high dependency care and intensive care, and the associated clinical and non-clinical support facilities, including facilities for families.
This guidance is based on Health Building Note 09-03 Neonatal units guidance published by the Department of Health in 2013.
