Abstract
Provides alternative design rules for shear studs which complement Eurocode 4. Looks at slip capacity and stud resistance, specifying a minimum degree of shear connection, design rules for symmetric and asymmetric beams, unpropped symmetric and asymmetric beams and beams with large web openings.
