Abstract
Analyses the Government's interventions in the renewable energy planning system particularly for wind and solar since 2013, looking at whether those interventions have helped the right renewable energy projects be approved in the most appropriate locations more often. Also considers how effective local plan policies have been at supporting well sited infrastructure and whether brownfield sites are being used effectively for solar energy.
