Summarises the latest statistics on energy production, consumption, prices and climate change in the United Kingdom. Figures are primarily taken from the 2015 edition of the Digest of UK Energy Statistics. Covers: energy in the economy, overall energy, climate change, security of supply, coal, petroleum, oil and gas production, natural gas, electricity, feed in tariffs, renewables, combined heat and power, energy efficiency, fuel poverty, prices and expenditure.

Publisher History

The Department brings together much of the Climate Change Group, previously housed within the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), with the Energy Group from the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR). From July 2016, DECC became part of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
