Abstract

Provides recommendations on the planning, design, construction and maintenance of surface water management systems for new developments and redevelopment sites. These systems look to minimise/mitigate flooding from rain or run off from other sources to: protect water supplies, mitigate climate risks associated with urbanisation, protect landscape/townscape character and tackle biodiversity.
