Abstract

Gives functional requirements for drain and sewer systems outside buildings, operating under gravity, from the point where wastewater leaves a building, roof drainage system, or paved area, to the point where it is discharged into a wastewater treatment plant or receiving water. Can apply to drains and sewers below buildings if they do not form part of the drainage system for the building.
