Abstract

Aims to assist practitioners – in local authorities, public agencies, developers and community and stakeholder organisations – who are involved in town planning and in planning for culture, arts and sport to meet the national requirement to identify and positively plan for improved opportunities in cultural, sport and leisure provision – both within Local Plan policies and in making planning decisions. Provides a gateway to access more detailed information on the process and outcomes of planning for culture, arts and sport, and can be used as the basis of engagement and collaboration between planners and culture and sport practitioners.
