Abstract
Describes the impacts, costs and benefits of 4 options presented in the 2012 consultation to amend Sections 3: Environment and Section 4: Safety of the technical handbooks. Relates to pedestrian protective barriers at sudden changes of level in and around buildings, early carbon monoxide detection and warning, water efficiency measures and refuge storage provision.
