Provides guidance on anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities. Covers: types of facilities; what environmental and planning legislation is taken into account when assessing anaerobic digestion facilities; potential impacts of AD facilities on sensitive habitats; the basic layout of an AD facility; what information is considered by the Development Management Team when an application for AD is received; and potential mitigation measures to protect habitats and species.
