Abstract
Relates to the Flood risk (cross border areas) regulations 2010. SI 2010/1102, which complete transposition of the Floods Directive (Directive 2007/60/EC on the assessment and management of flood risks) into domestic law in England and Scotland. In particular it extends application of the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009 to the Scottish part of the Solway-Tweed River Basin District and makes arrangements for cross border co-ordination of flood risk assessments, maps and plans between England and Scotland.
