Explanatory Memorandum
Abstract
Relates to the Access to the countryside (dedication of land) (amendment) (England) regulations 2011. SI 2011/2020, which makes a number of changes to the existing regulations the Access to the countryside (dedication of land) (England) regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2004) to allow the freehold owner or a long leaseholder of land to be able to dedicate land on or adjacent to the coastal margin as coastal margin under section 16 of the Countryside and rights of way act 2000.
