This document is no longer available from the original publisher. SAP 2009 will be introduced from October 2010 and will be used for compliance with building regulations in England and Wales (Part L) and in Scotland (Section 6) and for the generation of EPCs for new dwellings. SAP 2005 will continue to be used for RdSAP assessments which will be revised following the implementation of SAP 2009. First published by the DOE (now the DECC) and BRE in 1993, and amended in 1994.
