Health Building Note
Provides guidance on the planning and design of facilities for diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology, reporting on the built environment required to implement the planning, construction, commissioning and operation of a new or upgraded facility. Coverage includes: imaging approach, general X-ray imaging, interventional radiology, facilities for universal and remote fluoroscopy, radionuclide imaging facilities based on gamma camera systems, positron emission tomography units, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging units, ancillary patient accommodation and staff and special activity accommodation.
Replaces HBN 6 (1992) and Supplement 1 (1994). The Department of Health's HBN 14-01 supersedes the information on radiopharmacies contained in this document.
