Abstract

Decision letter detailing the determination of compliance with requirement B1. Relates to building work comprising the conversion of an arts centre into a dwelling. As the planned first floor bedrooms are ‘inner rooms’ the proposal is to alter the existing windows to serve as egress windows to ensure adequate means of escape. The egress windows would be within a wall constituting a legal boundary, and the council believes the clients must control the land.
