Explanatory Memorandum

Abstract

Relates to the Town and country planning (general development procedure) (amendment) (England) order 2010. SI 2010/567; and the Planning (listed buildings and conservation areas) (amendment) (England) regulations 2010. SI 2010/568. These deal with design and access statements, and the publicity of planning applications; amend the time limits for lodging certain planning appeals; and include on the planning register applications for non-material changes to permissions.

Prepared by the Department for Communities and Local Government. SI 2010/567 revoked by SI 2010/2184, so explanatory memorandum no longer applies to this legislation.
