Abstract

Forms the standard document for civil engineering contracts let by the Water Undertakers in the UK, and by bodies such as District Councils discharging sewerage functions on their behalf. This edition relates to increasing use of EU rather than UK standards, the section for concrete has also been rewritten and certain clauses now include client specific requirements.

History

This edition has been superseded by the 7th edition March 2011. The 7th edition has been rewritten to reflect the experience of the UK Water Industry and the contractors since the last edition was published, and includes new standards and working practices, together with new technologies and more sustainable options.
