Presents papers exploring how concrete allows control over its form and appearance, how it can be altered through selection of materials, pigments and surface treatments, how to minimise surface deterioration, the advantages of its fluid state, and the advances in fabrication techniques and formwork. Groups the papers under two themes: the urban environment and radical design and form.
