Abstract

Relates to the arrangement of one and two bedroom flats where one or more bedrooms are inner rooms so the escape route passes through a combined living/dining kitchen room. The applicant believes the provision of sprinkler protection and a fire detection and alarm system provides the same level of safety as a flat designed following prescriptive guidance.
