JCT Framework Agreement (FA)

Abstract

For the procurement of construction/engineering related works over a period of time. Designed to be used by clients with contractors and/or suppliers and also contractors, sub-contractors and/or suppliers sub-letting to others in the supply chain. Can be used with most standard forms of construction and engineering contracts and sub-contracts. May be applied where compliance with the public procurement rules is necessary and on a single project.

JCT 2005 and associated JCT Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2011.
