Abstract

Specifies the minimum requirements, test methods, marking and evaluation of conformity for pillar hydrants for fire fighting purposes, that are to be installed in a water distribution system; have sizes DN 80, DN 100 and DN 150; are suitable for an allowable operating pressure, PFA, of PN 16 with or without drain facility; have vertical or horizontal, flanged, socket or spigot inlet; with one or two outlets and having outlets to national requirements and a globe (screw down) or gate valve type.
