Abstract

Designed to help in the formulation of guidelines for assessing the environmental impacts of outdoor lighting and to give recommended limits for relevant lighting parameters to contain the obtrusive effects of outdoor lighting within tolerable levels. Refers to the potentially adverse effects of outdoor lighting on both natural and man-made environments for people in most aspects of daily life.
