Abstract
Outlines measures to be taken to minimise the likelihood of in service failure due to the use of incorrect materials, primarily pipework, and where the consequences of such failure would be unacceptable. This Code of Practice can also be applied to other types of construction materials where in service failure is considered to be unacceptable.
