Abstract
Summarises the findings of structural investigations on seven forms of early cast-in-situ concrete low-rise house construction; Corolite No-Fines, Fidler, Duo-Slab, Universal Type 2, Unit No-Fines, Forrester-Marsh and Diatomite. All are wholly independent systems with their own very different forms of construction and individual characteristics. Details of the form of construction are given for each system, together with a summary of the main findings of site investigations. Conclusions are drawn with respect to the structural condition of each type of construction based on the survey findings.
