Abstract
A visitors' centre, the Gateway and Orientation Centre, in the first National Park in Scotland, the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The building is a rectangular steel and glass box measuring 54m x 12m, and about 6m high. It contains a large exhibition and display area with some office space. Working details of a colonnaded screen of green oak framed with steel. Details of costs are given. Architects: Bennetts Associates. Structural engineers: Buro Happold.
