Abstract
YRM's new block at Whitefield Schools and Centre in Walthamstow, London. The special needs school has brick-faced 'bookends' at both ends of the building which accommodate stairs and heavy duty hospital lifts. A combination of sun-shading and high performance glazing floods the building with daylight.
