Defect Action Sheet
Abstract
Intended to remind and inform designers and site supervisory staff of ways of avoiding some of the most troublesome defects which have beset Local Authority housing. This Defect Action Sheet covers slated and tiled pitched roofs: flashings and cavity trays for step and stagger layouts - specification. Failures discussed include rain penetration into a separating wall. Defects discussed include cavity trays, soakers or flashings omitted, incorrectly formed or positions.
