Abstract
Summarises the effect of pulverized-fuel ash (pfa) on various aspects of concrete durability when it is used as a component of the cementitious material. Comparisons with conventional Portland cement concrete are made, and attention is drawn to documentation giving recommendations for the use of pfa in concrete.
